Mission Focus
This month our mission focus is on the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). UMCOR was founded in 1940 and is the global humanitarian relief organization of The United Methodist Church. When a community is impacted by a natural or civil disaster, the United Methodist Church is there to alleviate suffering and offer critical support through UMCOR. UMCOR helps in the United States and across the world with flooding, hurricanes, typhoons, wildfires, and tornado disasters. They also provide support for civil disasters such as the Gaza Crisis and the Ukraine War. Learn more at

March 15 is UMCOR Sunday. All collections for UMCOR will to toward the administrative costs of UMCOR so that 100% of donations during the year can go toward designated causes.

Giving at AUMC
There are many ways to give financially to Acton UMC. Each allows you the opportunity to designate where your gift is directed.

Core Giving
This designation is for the general budget. These funds are used to maintain our building, support our ministries, pay our staff and pay our conference tithe.
Designated Giving
You can select were your offering goes. Examples include our Amazing Mission Fund, various mission ministries such as God's Bounty, and more.
Sunday Offering
Traditional giving on Sunday morning is simple. Place your gift (either cash or check) in our offering plate during worship. There are giving envelopes in each pew if you would like your offering to be included in your giving statement. If you would like to designate where your gift will go, please note that on the offering. All non-designated offerings will go to our core giving.
Electronic Giving
Electronic giving is an easy and safe way to give. You can give on a time by time basis or setup to give on a schedule. Options for giving include core giving, missions, special offerings, and an option for you designated where else you might want to give. Give Now
