Visitation Team

Visitation Team members visit the homes of first time visitors on Sundays immediately following Sunday school. They stay only a few moments to let the newcomer know that their time with us in worship is a blessing to us and that we are hopeful they will return.

Care Notes Team

Members of the Care Notes Team send a “we missed you” note to folks who have not been with us in worship for a few Sunday mornings.

Invitation Team

The Invitation Team  mails invitational post cards to newcomers in the environs of AUMC.  The Invitation Team sponsors a number of fund raising projects to further AUMC’s reaching out to newcomers. The Invitation Team, also,  organizes Neighborhood Walks on Saturday mornings when members go from house to house in new neighborhoods inviting people to church.
