Angel Tree

Angel Tree Christmas connects imprisoned parents with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts.  AUMC provides the congregation the opportunity to purchase a gift for a specific child in the Indianapolis area.  A team also delivers the gifts to the children.

Compassion Center

The Compassion Center is a not for profit organization operated by the National Christian Outreach Inc. and is open Monday through Friday and Sundays from 10-1:00 offering a free meal to all.  AUMC prepares and serves the meal on the first Sunday of each month along with leading a worship service.

Crop Walk

The Indianapolis area Crop Walk helps hunger around the world and around the corner.  AUMC participates in this walk every year with walkers and sponsors.  The walk is in October and is 3.5 miles through the Butler Tarkington Neighborhood.

God's Bounty

God's Bounty is a food pantry serving Franklin Township.  The food pantry is open every Thursday from 1-7pm.  AUMC serves on the second Thursday of each month.  Volunteers are always needed to sort and distribute food.

Habitat for Humanity

AUMC along with other central Indiana United Methodist Churches teams up with Central Indiana Habitat for Humanity to build homes in the Indianapolis area.

Monthly Food Pantry Collection

AUMC collects food all year long to support our local food pantry - God's Bounty in Wanamaker.  Bring any items you would like to contribute to the display in the church library and they will be delivered to the pantry.
