Bereavement Support

The purpose of this ministry is to provide support and encouragement to those who have lost members of their family and close friends. One way the team provides support is through the organization of funeral dinners for the families of AUMC church members that have passed away.

Garden Team

The new Garden Team is developing plans for gardens on the church’s large property. The Garden Team is an excellent opportunity for new people to come on board in early planning days.

Faith Fully Brewed

Using coffee as a metaphor, the study urges us to offer up to God the whole bean essence of our lives to be finely ground so that God can get the most flavor out of our lives. Our study is open to women of all ages and stages of life. In addition to our weekly study on Friday mornings, we are including mission service projects as our way of “sharing our over-flowing cup” of the Holy Spirit with the community. If you have an idea for a mission project that you don’t want to do alone, call us! Join us on Friday mornings at 9:15 AM for an informal study of God’s word, prayer and support with other women of AUMC. We would love to see you.

Fellowship Bible Study

This Thursday evening Bible study group consists of both men and women who meet in the homes of its members. We are presently meeting in the home of Ken and Sandy Grubb, 6032 South Eaton Avenue. We have studied books of the Bible as well as various topics. We extend an invitation to everyone to join us from 7:30 PM to 9 PM. We enjoy fellowship time with snacks before the study begins as well as prayer time and stimulating discussions.

Moms in Faith

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path,” Psalm 119:105.

Moms in Faith is a Wednesday morning women’s Bible study group that meets to study, pray, and to share our lives and experiences with each other. This group provides the opportunity for women to nurture each other in spiritual growth, fellowship, and service. Through His word and through each other, God gives us inspiration, guidance, support and strength as we try to apply our faith in our daily lives. We have fun learning and sharing together.
